Gingerbread House

A 3D gingerbread house ornament — four panels (front, back, two sides) stitched on warm tan Boot Camp Lugana so the unstitched fabric reads as the gingerbread itself, with white-icing trim, candy windows, and a peppermint door. A Jingle Ball 2024 class finish.

3D Gingerbread House by Tiny Modernist — a four-panel chart designed to be assembled into a dimensional gingerbread-house ornament. Front and back are 42w × 53h with the pitched-roof gable, side walls are 41w × 32h rectangles, and once stitched the four panels seam together with a stuffed interior into a small free-standing house you can hang on the tree or sit on a shelf.

The motif is classic gingerbread-cookie: white royal-icing trim edging every roofline and seam, gumdrop / peppermint candy windows, a striped peppermint door, and tiny iced details across the walls. Reading like a cookie that’s just been decorated.

Stitched on 32ct Be Stitch Me Boot Camp Lugana — a warm tan hand-dye that is the gingerbread, so all the unstitched ground reads as the cookie itself and only the icing, candy, and door need to be stitched in. Threads are DMC throughout.

This was a Jingle Ball 2024 class finish — one of the year’s online stitch-along classes through that event.

Started October 24, 2024. Finished stitching November 10, 2024. FFO’d into the 3D house ornament December 8, 2024.
