Leave Me Alone I'm Cross Stitching

Leave Me Alone I’m Cross Stitching by The Witchy Stitcher — a stitcher’s declaration sampler, 119w × 89h stitches, with the line LEAVE ME ALONE I’M CROSS STITCHING set in big bold lettering and surrounded by gothic-witchy flourishes: candles, scrollwork, bats, and a row of small gravestones along the bottom.

Two changes from the original chart:

• Gravestone tweak. In the original chart the small gravestones bracketing the I’M line lean inward at angles. I redrew them upright so the row reads as a tidy little graveyard fence under the lettering instead of a tilted set.
• Full purple conversion. The original is multi-colour. I used @jesslovesxstitch on instagrams purple conversion — chart conversion is on the Conversions page for download. If you use her conversion give her a shout out!

Stitched on 36ct Be Stitch Me Middle Earth Linen — a warm hand-dyed cream with swirls of green that reads as old parchment under the purple, perfect for the witchy paper sign nailed to a tree vibe the design is going for.

Planned on finishing on Apothecary Cabinet Cross Stitch Display with a friend summuer 2026.

Started January 10, 2025. Finished May 10, 2025 — about four months of stitching alongside other projects.
