A partial stitch of Night Flying by Durene Jones — the original chart is a full Halloween friends scene with Happy Halloween lettering, but I cropped it down to just the vampire and the mummy so the finished piece would fit inside a wooden coffin box I picked up at JoAnn’s.
Stitched on 40ct Nocturne Newcastle linen — a deep dusky purple that does most of the moody-night work for you, no background fill needed. DMC throughout, with whole crosses, fractionals, backstitch, and french knots all making an appearance.
