October’s entry in Joseph’s Workshop’s Timely Trinkets series — a monthly run of tiny kits where the design, fabric, threads, needle, and the laser-cut wooden trinket box for finishing all come in one package. Each box is about 2.25” × 2.25” × 1” tall, with cutout shapes on every side that match the design inside.
This one is the October ghost, mid-BOO, sitting inside a box with little ghosts cut into the lid and the sides so the linen peeks through them.
Stitched on 28ct Blue Spruce Zweigart linen with DMC, finished in two days. The blue-green linen turned out to be exactly the right backdrop for a white ghost — much spookier than a plain neutral would have been.
