Spooky Frights on Halloween Night SAL

A six-panel Halloween sampler stitch-along from Luminous Fiber Arts, stitched in a 3×2 grid on a hand-dyed purple Picture This Plus Monet linen. Each panel sits inside its own little dotted cross-stitch border and labels the motif inside it.

Reading left-to-right, top-to-bottom:

• Moons — a crescent moon with a quiet smile, scattered pinprick stars and small filled circles drifting alongside.
• Jacks — a grinning jack-o-lantern with two little stem tendrils curling out either side, a pair of bats wheeling overhead.
• Witch Hats — a tiny pumpkin with eyes wearing a tall pointed witch hat, a single spider on a thread dangling off the brim.
• Black Cats — a black cat silhouette under a leafless tree with a smaller cat sitting on the ground; some of the cats are accented with subtle stitched details.
• Boos — a chubby smiling ghost floating up out of a little pumpkin scarecrow, glittering specks of starlight scattered around them.
• Hoots — an orange owl perched on a bare branch, a small crescent moon and a few stars filling the corner.

Stitched on 28ct Picture This Plus Monet linen — a moody purple hand-dyed evenweave that reads as the Halloween night sky behind every panel. Threads are a mix of Classic Colorworks, Weeks Dye Works, and DMC, leaning on the overdyes for the soft tonal shifts in the pumpkins and owl.
