Elsa and Olaf — Frozen

Queen Elsa with Olaf the snowman from Disney’s Frozen (2013), in the chibi/big-head art style Ekaterina Chaykovskaya designs under Les petites croix de Lucie. Elsa in her ice-blue gown, lifting one hand mid-flurry of magic snow, while Olaf grins right next to her like he just got told he’s spending the summer in Arendelle.

Stitched on 28ct Purple Morning opalescent linen — the fabric’s woven-in shimmer flecks do the frost-in-the-air work without any extra stitching, so the chart’s tiny pale-yellow sparkle dots pick up real glow. DMC throughout. Companion piece to Anna and Sven, finished a month earlier.

The frame matches Anna’s — made by AcmsNeedleworkShop on Etsy, hand-painted in DMC 29 (the deep purple-violet from the floss range), with crystal snowflakes from Amazon glued on after the frame was finished. The two pieces are meant to hang together as a set.
