I Love You — In Binary
A heart spelled out in 1s and 0s, stitched as a 2019 gift for my (now husband) — both of us work in computers, so it reads as a love note in our shared language.

A 2019 piece for my then-boyfriend (now husband). We both work in computers, so a heart written out in binary felt more like us than the usual hearts-and-flowers route.
I designed the chart myself. The “I love you” sits at the top in script, the heart shape is filled with alternating 1s and 0s in red and black, and there’s a little signature row of three small hearts at the bottom.
