A free 2020 Halloween stitch-along that Durene Jones released on her Facebook page. The chart marches a little line of trick-or-treaters across the band: a grim reaper in his robe with scythe in hand, a mummy clutching a pumpkin pail, Frankenstein’s monster mid-shuffle, and a pumpkin-headed kid with jack-o’-lanterns at her feet — all under a Trick or Treat banner with bats, candy corn, and tiny stars scattered across the night sky.

Stitched on 40ct Nocturne Newcastle linen — the same dark dusky purple I used for Night Flying, Durene’s other Halloween chart in this gallery. The deep linen does most of the moonlit-night work without any background fill, which lets the costumes pop and the whole piece feel a little more haunted than it would on white.

Finished into a laser-cut Halloween frame with Happy Halloween lettering across the top, spider webs in the corners, and a haunted-house-and-graveyard cutout running along the bottom — the kind of decorative frame that’s its own piece of art. Frame is from Mine By Design Workshop on Etsy.

The original chart was a free SAL released in four parts on Durene Jones’ Facebook page over October 2020. The download buttons above link directly to each part’s post. If the direct links don’t load cleanly, you can also find the charts by scrolling back through Durene’s Facebook photos to October 2020. Heads-up: Facebook may ask you to log in either way.
