Gryffindor Name Tag (Maiden Name)
A Gryffindor crest with my first name worked into the banner — adapted from a Harry Potter pattern as a name tag. Stitched 1-over-1 on white evenweave for a very small, dense finish. The maiden-name original — finished but never FFO'd before I got married, so I later restitched it with my new name.

A Gryffindor crest name tag I adapted from an existing Harry Potter cross-stitch chart — kept the original lion-rampant heraldic shield (red field, gold border, scattered fleur-de-lys-and-Gryffindor-G motifs, white diamond-checker pattern down the body) and reworked the bottom banner to carry my own name instead of the chart’s lettering. Made for use as a name tag.
Stitched 1-over-1 on white evenweave I had in my stash — every cross stitch worked over a single fabric intersection rather than the usual two, which makes the whole piece very small and the lion’s mane and shield detail read at almost photographic resolution. 95 stitches wide × 117 stitches high, DMC floss throughout.
This is the maiden-name version — finished September 28, 2019, but I never FFO’d it (didn’t mount it / finish-finish it as an actual wearable name tag) before I got married. After the name change I went back and stitched the same crest a second time with my new married name in the banner; that one’s a separate piece I’ll add to the gallery as its own entry. This one stays as-is for the record.
